Bro. Steven has been with Son Rise since August of 2021. He has 10 years of ministry experience across many different experiences to be able to answer God’s Call for him and his family. As Bro. Steven says, “The goal of any ministry should be to spread the Gospel of Christ to a lost and dying world. But I believe it goes much farther than that. The church must first grow their personal relationship with God, their relationships with each other, and as those relationships strengthen, then the Love of God must overflow to show the world who He is to each of us. Being a disciple of Christ is the yearning that I strive to draw God’s people to by leading by example, teaching the Word, preaching God’s ordained messages, and loving the people with the love that Christ first gave me. I fully believe that the issue with our world currently is the lack of passion for Him among Christians.”
